A (somewhat) honest look at what it's like to be a single, Christian woman in her mid 30s in Sydney who wants to remain true to the life that God has planned for her but doesn't want to let go of her dream of being in a relationship again and eventually being a wife and mother

-242 Potential Bachelor #5

Well it's only been a week but there maaayyyyy be a potential Bachelor #5 that I am getting to know but alas he lives on the other side of the world.

It might fizzle out really quickly. I'm not really sure why I am even giving him potential Bachelor status but he's the first one to intrigue me in a long time.

I'm waiting on the next email. It's been a couple of days. No biggie but I dislike the wait in the early days because you can't help but wonder if the last email was the last one.

Will keep you updated.

  1. I recently got an email from some random dude which said, verbatim:

wanna make out and then make love

Um, and this is on a Christian site. Needless to say, all I responded to him was that I only knew how to make pottery (which is a lie). Then he replied with:

    Cool what are you doing

To which I replied "I'm doing the moonwalk."

Yep, never heard from that guy again. But I hope your messaging with Bachelor #5 lasts longer than 2 messages! :)

  2. Thanks Michelle. :)

Shannon - Pottery!!!! ROFL!!! You have the gift of hilariousness! :)

And I'm sadly not at all shocked by his request. Christian sites don't always equates Godly men ( or women ) on them.

So far so good. Not sure if we are potential friendship or potential more. Keep praying. :)

  3. Potential "bachelors" are always exciting news! And I'm with you, I haven't met a guy who has peaked my interest in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time, so this post is awesome :) Can't wait to read the next one.
